National Fair Housing Alliance Announces New Chief Operating Officer

Washington, D.C. — The National Fair Housing Alliance® (NFHA™) is excited to announce the appointment of Timothy Guinan as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In his role as COO, Tim will oversee financial management, human resources, IT, administration, and organizational performance. He will assist the board of directors with governance, contribute to strategic planning, and be an integral part of the executive leadership team.

“We are thrilled to have Tim join our team. His extensive experience will be instrumental in driving our organization’s success as we broaden our advocacy efforts,” said Cat Cloud, Senior Advisor to the President and CEO.

Before joining NFHA, Tim founded N Street Strategies, a consulting firm that provides strategic and operational services to nonprofits. He also co-founded Givhero, a social impact software platform that supports over 2 million global charities through corporate employee engagement, well-being, and charitable giving. Additionally, Tim served as the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Executive Director of PeacePlayers International, which operates youth development programs in the United States, Northern Ireland, South Africa, Cyprus, and the Middle East.

Tim holds an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Miami University, where he competed as a Division I athlete. He also spent five years teaching social responsibility as an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University.

A native of Washington, D.C., Tim is the son of social entrepreneurs who founded several organizations to support marginalized communities in the city, including the Community for Creative Non-Violence (CCNV), Zacchaeus Community Kitchen, and Rachael’s Women’s Center.
